This week one of the schools that I work for sent me the contract to renew for the next semester

I’ve been working for this particular school for about 7 years now, and they’ve been really good to me

As an English teacher, they’ve given me super short work weeks (I only work two days a week, and I have something like 4 months of paid vacation) and a relaxed work environment

And they’ve helped finance the international travel lifestyle that you guys see me living online

Up until recently, it’s been the best job that I ever had, and I feel super blessed to have found it

With that said, things have changed a lot for me in the past year – I have taken on a lot of online teaching work (which has tripled my income), I film YouTube videos, and I provide consultations for clients who are interested in getting into English teaching

With so much on my plate, I don’t have a lot of free time…. and I don’t really need the money from this job anymore….

So I’m thinking that I might quit it, so that I have more time to focus on other things (and also so that I don’t work myself into an early grave! ☠️)

What do you think? If you were me, would you drop one of the best jobs that you’ve ever had? Or would you try to find a way to make it work in balance with the rest of the things in your life?

This is somewhat of a serious decision for me, and I am not taking it lightly. So I’d like to hear outside opinions

Hoping to hear from you!

-Danny
