About
I'm an American who left.
Not because I hated everything. Not in some dramatic way. I just looked at what the default life was supposed to look like. The job, the commute, the waiting. And decided to find out if something better existed on the other side of a plane ticket.
Turns out it did.
I've been living overseas for over a decade. China is where most of that time went. Built a life there, picked up the language (enough of it), spent years figuring out how to make real money teaching English while traveling between countries. Since then I've put serious time into Thailand, Japan, Bali, Kazakhstan, and a few other places most guys back home have only seen on a map.
Flight Madness is what I built to share what I figured out.
This is the main thing. I help men who want to live overseas get their first English teaching job. Not someday. In the next few months. I've worked with guys who had no experience, no TEFL, no plan, and helped them get from a cubicle in America to a classroom in Asia. What certifications actually matter. Which countries are hiring. How to interview. How to not get scammed. That's what the one-on-one consultations cover.
Free 15-Minute Strategy CallI've been writing to my list for years. Real stuff. Stories from the road, honest takes on the traveling lifestyle, practical information about teaching and moving abroad, and opinions I probably shouldn't share publicly.
Join the NewsletterI'm not a travel blogger who spent two weeks in Europe and came back with life advice.
I spent the better part of a decade in China. Taught English in multiple countries. Navigated visa situations, bad contracts, landlord drama, culture shock, every other thing that comes from actually living somewhere instead of visiting. I've helped real people make real moves. Guys who were stuck in the matrix and are now out here building the life.
I don't pretend to have everything figured out. I've made mistakes. I've wasted money on bad decisions. I share that too.
What I can tell you is what worked. And what to avoid so you don't waste years I already wasted.
Flight Madness is built around three things:
How to get your first ESL job, which countries make sense, how to earn real money teaching and fund the life you actually want to live.
What it's actually like to live in Thailand, China, Japan, and the rest of the region. Not the brochure version. The real version.
Use teaching as the bridge to get overseas, lower your cost of living, and build income and leverage from the ground.
If any of that overlaps with what you're looking for, you're in the right place.
Questions, consultation inquiries, or you just want to talk through a plan.
