One of the biggest problems with a lot of remote jobs is this:

You’re “remote”…

But not really free.

I recently saw a story about a young Black American guy who secretly moved to Thailand while still working his job.

Problem is, he already knew it was against company policy.

Then the company tracked his laptop, found out where he was, and fired him.

That’s the kind of setup a lot of guys are stuck in.

They dream about living overseas.

They want the beaches.
The freedom.
The lower cost of living.
The better lifestyle.

But their employer still owns their schedule…
their location…
and sometimes damn near their soul.

That’s why I keep telling guys:

There’s a big difference between having an online job…

and having an income source that actually works with the life you want.

That’s one reason I like English teaching so much.

It gives a lot of guys a much cleaner path overseas.

You can build income around the move itself.

Not sneak around like you’re hiding from HR in a Bangkok condo.

And honestly, I think this is part of why a lot of tech bros are frustrated right now too.

For years, a lot of them got used to cushy setups, crazy perks, and comfortable remote work.

Then that whole culture started shifting.

Now the vibe is more like:

Get back in the office.
Work harder.
Stop complaining.
Produce.

A lot of guys chased tech because they thought it meant freedom.

Then they found out it can still mean being chained to a screen, chained to a company, and chained to whatever policy gets emailed out next.

That’s not real freedom.

Real freedom is having an income setup that lets you actually live where you want.

That’s why English teaching is still one of my favorite options for regular guys who want to get overseas faster.

It’s practical.
It’s proven.
And it doesn’t require you to play hide and seek with your employer.
