It’s true – a LOT of companies are cutting back/eliminating their remote work options

Even the hybrid “work from home half the week” jobs are getting dismantled

That means employees have to be in the office at their desk EVERY DAY

And for the workers who are able to keep their hybrid job setup….

…. companies often don’t allow them to work outside of the country

Dubious job recruiters try to tell you that you can just use a VPN to avoid getting found working overseas

But companies have already caught onto that

I know a guy who works for an Australian cyber security company

He’s in the top 1% of guys who understands tech and getting around security protocols

And he can’t even bring his work computer out of the country with him when he’s on vacation

(By the way, him and his wife still had an exxxtra fun time during their Pattaya vacation, though 😉)

It’s like he’s chained to his desk at work
