Real talk, the thing that first motivated me to learn Russian was the ladies

I had some awesome experiences with Russian ladies that got me interested in the country

After having so many positive dating experiences in a row, I became interested in learning the language

And I fell in love with Russian!

It became my favorite language

And even though it was difficult to get a grasp of, I persisted, and eventually made some solid progress

Unfortunately the Russia-Ukraine war put a stop to my Russian travel dreams

Having lived in China for almost a decade, I have a fairly high risk-tolerance

But visiting Russia when they are in a war (and also, allegedly, committing war crimes) definitely crosses the line for me

Anyways, I came across a map, and it showed other Russian-speaking places that I could travel to

And that’s how I discovered Kazakhstan!
