I’ve gotten a few questions from my consultation clients about when to schedule their class times

Imagine this – after a night on the town, you are rolling home (possibly in an advanced state of intoxication)

Maybe you’ve got a baddie (or two!) on your arm, both whom are down to play ball

After a fun night of making Jesus cry and bringing shame to your family, you, in an orga$mic haze, roll over and look at the clock

“F#&k! I’ve got my online class in 20 minutes”

You hop out of bed and throw on the least-stained collar shirt that you have near you

As you enter the online classroom, you wisely try to angle your computer camera away from the two big booty Latinas who have made your bed their new la casa ~

Thankfully none of your students suspect the fantastic mayhem that you were engaging in just hours earlier, and your class goes smoothly

While the crisis was narrowly averted, this scenario can be common when you aren’t careful about when you have scheduled your classes

Here’s the deal – when it comes to online classes, students typically take classes in the evening times

During the winter time, when public schools are on holiday, students might have a more flexible schedule, so they can take classes from morning to evening time (in their time zone)

In this cold season, I personally prefer to schedule classes in the morning time

But having morning classes can backfire if you are caught up in the late-night party lifestyle that overseas travel can * suck * you into

If that’s you, then it’s smart to schedule your classes in a way that doesn’t clash with your night-owl lifestyle

For me, early mornings are usually the best time, as I can knock my classes out, and then focus on other stuff (such as gym, dating, etc.)

For other guys, they may prefer to sleep in so as to have enough time to ~~slip the Plan B into the girl’s drink before they give her the boot~~ be able to attend their class(es) fully rested

English teaching really is “choose your own adventure”, and, more specifically, “choose your own time”

Just pick the time that works best for you!
