Recently I set off a firestorm in a “black travel” Facebook group

The black women in the group REALLY didn’t like it that I posted a photo with my Chinese girlfriend

The women took me dating a non-black woman as disrespect to black women

I wrote an article that has screenshots of the hatred they sent my way

The head of Passport Bros (BMT Travels) and I did a livestream where I talked about the Facebook attacks against me

Many of the (male) viewers commented that I should EXPECT to be attacked by black women

Because posting photos of my happy interracial relationship is definitely gonna trigger some (probably already miserable) ladies

Apparently a lot of these men are used to being harassed for their international dating preferences….

I’ve been gone from America for so long (over +10 years now) that I’m out of the loop about how bad things are

It definitely shocked me how many guys are so comfortable living in the misery of such a spiteful culture

The constant stress of needing to be careful about who you reveal your girlfriend to…

I’ve even had clients who hide the fact that they travel!

(because it could hurt their career to be seen as possibly dating non-American women)

It sounds like hell

I left America back in 2014 to teach English in South Korea, and then China

So I’ve been mostly shielded from the culture war/battle of the sexes that is raging on in the states

The idea of being doxxed and attacked for international-dating during my travels….

…. that’s a horror story that I don’t have to deal with

And I feel sorry for the guys who have to live in fear of that kind of bullying

Because I do online English teaching, my personal life details are anonymous to the companies I work for

My schools don’t even know where in the world I’m at most of the time

As long as I show up on time to teach class and fulfill my duties, my personal life is none of the school’s concern

So I can’t be touched by hateful outsiders

I live in complete freedom
