A steady job can be very useful for getting you to that next baller phase of life
For example, I worked a university teaching job in China for 10 years (until I recently quit)
During that 10 years I experimented with different types of income streams
One of my most memorable was being an artist/painter
I could afford to spend time living the (broke) artist lifestyle, because I had other money coming in, and abundant free time
(By the way, this is the reason I recommend English Teaching to guys who want to get into entrepreneurship overseas. Because it gives you vast amounts of free time and money while living in the foreign country of your choice)
