I hear guys saying that it’s difficult to get remote tech jobs these days
That sucks, because I know guys who have spent 1000s of dollars and years studying (getting those certs!) to get a remote job in tech, so they can live that overseas travel lifestyle dream
And it seems that the opportunities for this are getting cracked down on by companies
Maybe because they want to keep you close by (rather than writing code while chilling on the Thai beachside), or maybe even keep you under their control….
Heck, even Elon Musk said in an interview that he doesn’t think his employees should be able to work from home, that it’s “morally wrong” of them to do that while others have to come to the office
What do you think about this supposed crackdown on remote tech jobs? Were you planning on using tech to help you work remotely?
I’ve been extremely blessed to have found English teaching, as it provides multiple (stable) ways to make money overseas
Either in the classroom or online, you can make money with English teaching. I’ve been doing it for 10 years, and it’s still going strong with no end in sight
