I was there for a few days recently, catching rides by motorbike to the different spots around the MASSIVE island
The island vibe of the city was really cool, and the weather was amazing the entire time me and my friends were there
A lot of the foreigners you’ll see there are the hippie gluten-free eating spiritual types who seem to be in Bali to “find themselves”
I’m not too much of a hippie, but I did really enjoy the high-quality organic foods at many of the restaurants
If you want a peaceful island city with most of the conveniences that you’ll find in Thailand, but without the raunchy Thailand atmosphere, Bali might be the place for you!
